Please make it stop. That is possibly the ugliest thing to ever grace a racetrack...

The first thing I thought of, for some reason, was the razor I use every morning to shave.

I have to disagree there ... this one looks a lot better than the Chevy kit. Hopefully it's faster, too.

To quote Woody Allen, " It's a mockery, it's a sham, it's a mockery of a sham."

The reaction of ordinary people is just confusion... because it isn't April 1st.

I can't muster enough GAF to bother with a response.

They didn't try to match the paint? :saywhat:
Not that that was the ugly part, but still...

Some of that is paint, some is vinyl. It's always been that way on Hunter-Reay's car. Apparently nobody at Andretti cares, but it's always driven me nuts.
Looks like crashes are going to become a case of grater vs grater.

Pretty clever of them to make the cars blend in with their natural habitat: the graters. It's like crapwagon camouflage.

Hopefully someday soon they can achieve total invisibility (and not just in the media). :gomer:

I'm amused by the fact that the thread about probably the worstest design in history resulted in two of the wittiest comments in history. Bravo, you two.
What part of this classifies itself as "open wheel"? Please make it stop...

I know a good paint job can hide a multitude of sins, but the Chevy aero kit doesn't look as goofy as the Honda one. (Yes, it's still goofy looking.)

It's ok. I would only change everything behind the tip of the nose and from the air box down.
I have no problem with the wheels, and I'll live with the mirrors even though they'll never work.
BTW, aren't the engines turbocharged now? Why do they still have an air box?

Nup, they gave up on them and returned to traditional silver crown cars for both dirt and pavement. Racing is better for it, so are grid numbers most of the time. Its good to see three dirt miles on the schedule but missing traditional races like Milwaukee Mile, Phoenix and Pikes Peak is sad.

Well it's different, not sure if it's better
Better is always different but different isn't always better.
