Lewis Hamilton just signed a £130,000,000 three year deal to drive for Mercedes. And he was acting as his own manager while doing it so he doesn't have to pay anyone the percentage...
In case you were wondering £130,000,000 converts to $203,000,000 USD....

And he doesn't have to drive a pile of crap to cash that check, either. Suck it, Fred. :D

he could buy his own CD's and have a #1 hit...
Or...he could start up an entire open wheel race series here in the US that I might actually want to attend!

Hamilton: 3 years @$31M/year base salary and up to $40M/year with performance bonuses.
Not even close to what the press had theorized (guessed/lied) about.

That's only about $85,000 per day. How the hell is he supposed to live on that?

Button gets paid about $11M too much. :D
I wonder what Massa's salary would be had he been WDC for more than a few seconds?

Yes. In the four races the two McLaren drivers have both started, Button has out qualified the most expensive driver 3-1 and has finished higher 3-1. Definitely Jenson who is overpaid, not Fernando.

$11,000,000 it would seem. But probably not from Williams. I doubt Sir Frank would (directly) pay anyone that much.
I also think Button took a fairly serious pay cut to stay on for 2015. Not like he had much leverage though.
