View Full Version : Le Mans 2015
Anyone know of a site that offers live streaming of the race?
Thanks in advance (and no thanks to my cable provider!)

looks like they killed off the bad feed and made a new one, so i was able to reconnect. Thanks.
This is my first year being able to stream on the tele with the amazon fire stick (which is why I bought it). It's been a bit of an experience sofar.

This works but make sure your popup blockers & adware stuff is on.
Don't download anything.

okay, I've had it. Between stupid fox jumping the broadcast from channel to channel to channel every 20 minutes to the stupid amazon fire stick crashing every other 20 minutes, trying to watch this race has become an absolute exercise in frustration. The fire stick is in the garbage, and I'm going to bed before I smash my ipad.
Call me when it makes the headlines at CNN or something else with a minimum audience of 20 million. good night, everyone.

About half way through I gave up on the free stuff and paid for the fiawec.com coverage. It was fantastic high quality commercial free coverage.
Yea Porsche! Yea Corvette Racing!!! Yea Patrick Dempsey!!!! I gave up on several coverage choices as well...but seeing the last 15 min. or so when I awoke, and the post race celebrations, was like opening gifts on Christmas morning!

I'll have to do that next year. Made it through with the free stuff which wasn't as bad as it could have been. It'd be nice to have a TV option but apparently TSN and its 5 channels don't have space for anything other than 8 hour blocks of "Off The Record With Michael Landsberg" reruns. Pathetic but when you (almost) have a monopoly there isn't much reason to care I guess. The CRTC's a dinosaur and needs to die.
There were a few things that Speedvision did well and Le Mans was one of them.
Hey Rosawendal, how did you use your Fire to "watch"? Couldn't find it listed on Amazon Prime so ended up streaming it from Fox on my laptop here and there. Tried to watch it on the FoxSports app on my ipad but that never worked.

Amazon Fire is the only HDMI streamer to have the Fox Sports Go app at the moment. I bought it specifically to watch this race because I knew the broadcast would be chopped up, and I wanted to be able to have a single source option to watch it on the television, rather than on a computer / tablet / phone. Set it and forget it.
I'm not sure if the problem with my setup was bandwidth, router, the app (after one crash, I couldn't even log in to the app or reset the stick), or the stick itself. We are having issues with our router.
This is the downside to watching non-"stick and ball" sports. Audience counts are just too low for mainstream broadcasting. I ended up falling asleep to one of the stream feeds above on my iPad, and picking up the television broadcast in the AM.
aahh. Thanks. Thought maybe you were mirroring from Fire device.
Haven't had a problem with my stick in the three months I have had it. Use it mostly for music and movies.
(No "stick" jokes, please!!)
After watching the WEC the past year and a half, I am trying to keep watching F1 past the first few laps on a dry track. The WEC has done a stellar job with the rules. In the top class there are four manufacturers with four different ways of getting the job done. Porsche with a turbo V4, Audi with a turbo diesel, Toyota with an atmo lump and Nissan going off the deep end with a front engined, front drive turbo V8. Whereas F1 even mandates the centre of gravity for the motor. Add to that wonky tires and a steward's review for even the slightest touch between competitors. DRS, drivers having to coast...
Modern open wheelers are starting to lose the plot. Sports cars are where its at. At least for me.
Will be anxious to see the Ford return...EcoBoost Ford GT...2 for LeMans and 2 for TUSCC...testing well underway...looks good but a V-6 turbo won't turn heads like those giant MklV V-8s did and the Ganassi red white and (light) blue should be more White and dark blue for LeMans!:irked:

(1) like those giant MklV V-8s did
(2) and the Ganassi red white and (light) blue should be more White and dark blue for LeMans!:irked:
(3) Needs to be baby blue and orange...
(1) Don't fergit the MkIIs that ran in '65 and won in '66...
(2) Understand you're reasoning but then so should the Vettes (old "national" colours). None of the winning Fords or Chevies were bathed in those colors.
(3) Chip Ganassi is not John Wyer... (and not sponsored by Gulf...)
;):)
Too late! Used to seeing bright yellow Corvettes. I don't mistake them for Japanese!:) Reading about this Callaway Corvette C-7 GT3R. Yikes...looks positively MEAN! Reading where Eric Curran of the IMSA Whelen DP Corvette and BORIS SAID are headed to Europe to run in a VARIETY of GT3 series:thumbup:...showing off the flag, Callaway, Whelen...sounds like an expensive trip!
