ND survives against BC in Fenway (no idea how they fit a football field there, and I've been there).

My bigger question is why was ND the home team?
ND has the Shamrock series, where they take a home game and play it off campus. Dublin, San Antonio, Indy. The theory is it lets more alumni and casual fans a chance to see the games in person.
Well, my girls have been schooled well. It's _ichigan week....TTUN, TSUN. Get the _ out. :)

All the Ohio State win today means is that they're easily the best group of athletes in the big 10 but they screwed themselves out of a title shot.

The coaching staff screwed them....2 carries for Zeke against Sparty in the 2nd half and lost control of the line of scrimmage both sides. :saywhat: :irked: Feed the Zeke.

While I agree that the coaching staff did more than their share, the players are certainly not without blame. They looked like they were going through the motions waiting for their championship game all season.
Bed made: lie in it.

Yup. Blame falls on both sides of the ball. But that play calling was awful. :saywhat:
In other news...more Miles.

Actually, like a true Buckeye fan, he's smirking over the win. Smug, even.

tOSU vs. Houston in the Fiesta Bowl?!? Wouldn't that be interesting. Urban vs. Herman. :saywhat:

Half way through the first quarter and Utah leads over BYU 28-0. All turnovers.
Ah the warm and fuzzies are strong with this one.

First & 10 turnover #5.
28-0 and Utah just did it's first pass play...
Five turnover and 5 touchdowns...
Twelve offensive snaps - 35-0
Condolences, cman.
Stong, the Utes are. </Yoda> :gomer: ;)
At least you have the Utards beating Dookie in men's hoopies. :)

And we just had the dumbest unsportsman penalty on the part of Utah. Way to get kicked out of a blowout win ya moron.

North Dakota state in fcs title game again. The thundering herd goes for the drive for 5 in a row. Play Jacksonville state
So I flipped on the St. Pete Bowl (Marshall vs. UConn) for a bit, and there is NO one there. Worse than an IRL race. I just don't get all of these flipping bowls that are totally meaningless. :saywhat: :shakehead:
EDIT: Sun Bowl == Snow Bowl. :gomer: ;)
Thoughts? I have Bammy > Sparty, Okie > Clemmy.
Homer side note: tOSU > Domers in a cat fight.
Let the football binge begin! :)
Welp, those games sucked. :saywhat:

Lord help me, but I actually understood all those "nicknames."
As to the other, I didn't get to see the first one as I was arm wrestling a 20-pound turkey. Turned off the second one after the first TD in the 3rd quarter. Heartbreaking for the "Spartys." I couldn't watch it. Now, being as fickle with college sport foosball as the wind is here in SoCal, I'm all for roll 'em TIDE!

20 lbs.?!?
I thought Sparty would represent better, Jeebus that was horrid. :saywhat: I wasn't really sold on Okie, but I thought Clemson would be affected by the suspensions and had other flaws.
IMHO, Tide will roll. Side note: one of my former direct reports used to have a package of Tide and a roll of TP on top of his cube. Good guy, bad taste. ;)
B1G disappointment. Sparty sucked last night (and I mean SUCKED), Iowa NEVER belonged in the Rose Bowl (see their resume...craptastic). NW gets toasted...tOSU and TTUN save the day. :saywhat: :shakehead:

I don't think anyone saved the day. Everyone of those games turned into an epic mismatch. Really disappointing football IMHO.

tOSU/ND was kinda interesting (#homer ;-) ). Crap, I turned off the Rose Bowl to watch the news. :saywhat:
Wow. Ducks/Frogs. I flipped it off to watch Blue Bloods, but dayum.

And it's my understanding that ESPN was begging the BCS/NCAA not to have the games on NYE, which was an incredibly stupid idea in the first place. The way the holiday fell made Friday night and Saturday night games no brainers. They're idiots.

If you read the B&C article that is linked in the article above, ESPN held back inventory on this weekend's NFL game and Monday's CFB game to cover the UD ratings points owed to the CFB advertisers. However, there's not enough spots in either game to cover all make goods (even with cramming in additional inventory during injury timeouts or potential challenge reviews) so advertisers may have to have their owed points run elsewhere, up to and including the NBA Finals. Which, networks HATE holding onto owed points that long, they want to clear out their books ASAP.
