Just got picked up as a McLaren Factory Team driver.:thumbup: That's a good thing for him AND McLaren. Been impressive for a long time, just not sure how many New Zealand drivers really WANT to go race in Europe...and elsewhere. Sure wish he'd stop by Road America someday!! Can KPax afford him now? Likely not.:(....OW, will he be able run the entire Aussie V8 series...SEEMS not. At least going to be a frequent flyer!

Just a renewal of contract. He raced for one of the factory supported McLaren teams in the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Season as the McLaren supplied factory driver. He sat out the Nurburgring event because it clashed with the Sandown 500. Same applies this year. It's secondary to his campaign with Triple 8/Red Bull Racing Australia. Although they haven't released his planned schedule it will be almost the same because of the same date clash.
