I had the pleasure of going to the 75th running of the Formula 1 race in Monaco...

First things first... climbing up to Prince's Palace (Palais du Prince) overlooking the track, viewing a track is always such a thrill, this was no exception.

The Castle Fortress walls and the fans below...

It was a great experience that I will never forget, the two disappointments is the they sell more seats than standing room on the balconies, I didn't care as much because I hate heights, and that you can't walk from area to area as one would do during a race at a natural road course, you had to have a pass for each distinct area, and so IF I were to do it again, I would have to buy a seat in every area to cross bridges and gain views.

An interesting tidbit... The Ferrari Team rented for their private use the 450 passenger cruise ship Seabourn Odyssey, they built a dance floor over the pool, and had a heck of a victory party, Vettel preferring to pour Jägermeister himself for his engineering crew... I jumped on board and took the cruise out of Monaco.

No I didn't or Saphir 24... but here's a kinda food related story, I'm eating in this restaurant, outside, off the beaten path and a "driver" shows up incognito with his little entourage of friends, I didn't recognise him, all young guys hanging with him, they take a seat behind me, they order, fan stops by gets a pic, and I got to listen in on their conversation, which is impossible not to do. One of his buddies mentions how the "driver" went to a sex party, and then the driver goes on to explain how you have to bring a girl, etc. and then tells the detailed story, anyways... he finally gets around to explain why he leaves the party... while "exercising" in this one room, he looks up and 3 guys, peckers in hand are busy enjoying the show so to speak, it was too much for him!! :rofl:

Didn't spend enough time in Monaco, spent too much time on vacation. Glad to be back to work today.
