I'm also eager to see how quickly the replays are available. It is the rare F1 race that I actually watch live, so the $3 option would be kind of nice when I travel, if it isn't a 10 day delay or something.

This link (https://f1tv.formula1.com/en/content-schedule) shows the replay delays. It shows '2 days' for the 'United States Virgin Islands', but nothing for just the 'United States'. Go figure...

Look a little lower for USA, right below Uruguay. 2 days, 2 days

Some of the delays for other countries are ridiculous. 14 days? :shakehead:

Well, $90 in and I'm already screaming at the phone. Any idea how the phone app is supposed to work? I can pick and choose what session I want to see on the laptop but I don't seem to have that option on the app.

Formula 1 finally launched its livestream—and it was a total mess (https://arstechnica.com/cars/2018/05/formula-1-finally-launches-its-livestream-and-it-was-a-total-mess/)

It'll get better. Everything I've seen about this points to a rush job.

Buy some bandwidth, hire some UX people (my daughter is looking!)....

They've been saying over and over again for the past two months that streaming service will NOT be available on mobile devices right away. Only PCs.

Which of course is ridiculous in this day and age, but nonetheless, they didn't swindle anyone in this regard. They were very upfront about it.

I was pleasantly surprised that ABC aired it all commercial free.

I got the race on a cable channel I've never heard of; Live Well HD.

Coverage was good.

The raced reminded me of the Schumi days when he would drive all day alone in first with a 5 second lead.

Live Well is a digital broadcast channel owned by Disney/ABC. I know its channel 7.2 in LA and Chicago where the ABC stations are channel 7 (via over the air broadcast). Live Well also airs the Indycar races in Chicago when the Cubs schedule conflicts.
