For those who didn't see her race last year, she started on the pole, her car stalled on lakeshore and she fell back to last on the first lap, with her car restarted, she came back through the field to finish 4th, crossing the line about a half car length back from a podium finish.

She fought hard for rookie of the year in Formula 1600 last year.

Ashley has talent. Hopefully she fully recovers and keeps moving up the racing ladder... Ashley Taws is a name we could be hearing more of in the future.

We got to meet her last year. I think I even have a couple pics of Dan with her. She really is nice and she seemed to be having so much fun. That race was awum last year.
