Yes, for sure. It will be interesting to se how it plays out from here. Feels like one of those races where they'll circulate until the laps are complete, but I have a hunch somebody will stick it in the barriers and cause an SC or two. Pit stops will come into play too.

Watch out for the Haas guys, lapping them maybe an adventure. Pit stops will certainly be key.

If I were Bottas, I think I'd probably go with the Hard (white) tire, but I suspect everyone will go medium (yellow). We'll see...
They always screw up on Bottas

And yet another (continuing example) of why Valtteri Bottas is the unluckiest driver in all of racing.
I should quit being his fan because it's burial to watch

Same here, I always hope he does well. However it seems the team issues are always on his car.

People are starting to struggle on tires.
Could yet have a monkey wrench thrown in.

I expect something to happen...
...and nothing did.
Nice job Max.

Well, you and I were the only ones here who watched, and I'm afraid to say that everybody else didn't miss much.
The upside is that the standings are now jumbled, which should make for an interesting season.

A clean Monaco which seems rare. A nice podium without Hamilton too, I like that it's not the usual suspects and the standings get a kick in the rear.

Sorry I missed everything guys.
Am working in the oil patch and honestly forgot it was sunday.
I have 10 more days in so I should be out for the next race I think?
If I am avail we'll do a live vid chat. Maybe even from the new place if I get moved in time.

FYI - I'll be 'out' for this weekend also (GF and I are going on a super mini-vacation) but we can shoot for after that!

We didn't see the only real pass with any excitement - Vettel over Gasly - because Monaco demands they do production in-house (the only race of the season that isn't produced wholly by F1) and they cut away from the fight to show Stroll's pit stop.
Egregious.

...and then just to twist the blade, during the only replay they AGAIN cut away just as Vettel came alongside. Does Vettel have some unpaid markers in the casino or something?

yes, yes, and yes. It is "strange" isn't it, that his car has the problems all the time and not Hamilton's. :shakehead:

LOVED the commentators though. "We missed it." "And, we missed it twice." I find Monaco hard to watch because it's so choppy, from so many different angles, and misses at least one section of the track so I lose all continuity. I watched it last night after returning from a weekend away so the lack of passing, particularly this year, had me fast forwarding though much of it.
