From what I gather his bone cancer has taken a turn for the much-worse. Anyone have any other insights? I'm putting him on my prayer list right next to Alex Zanardi.

Oh rats, I hope he is ok. I always thought he was a bit of diamond in the rough and wasn't afraid to call out the IRL and CART/Champ Car if he thought something was wrong. I used to love his RPM tonight show back in the day but haven't seen or heard from him since Champ Car folded. That's on me not following AOW racing anymore...

He's been absent from the Mailbag on Racer for the last few weeks, and they recently put out a message that didn't sound very good. (https://racer.com/2021/07/07/a-message-to-our-readers-about-robin-miller/?utm_source=RACER+%2F%2F+Newsletter&utm_campaign=8c3e5c2879-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2021_07_07_06_52&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_76623d07b6-8c3e5c2879-274258061)
Wishing him the best, but I am afraid of the news.
Wow. Sorry to hear that. Robin rubbed everybody the wrong way at one time or another. He called them as he saw them.
Ya, saw it elsewhere. I've always enjoyed his writing & take on things Indy. I usually saw him at the track and would try to chat with him a little, find out what was going on. I didn't know him personally but he was always friendly. It's really sad to hear his health has taken a turn for the worse.

Good to hear that he's hanging in there. There's a certain amount of justice in the fact that the troublemaker that called all the open wheel czars on their BS is widely beloved while others... well, not so much.

Thanks for the link. Glad Robin is doing a bit better, but I can't help but think that article read like his farewell column. But whatever may be, as Robin wrote, it's been a good run. Best wishes, racer

I'm praying for a recovery. I was really hoping to get to an Indycar race the last two years and one my hopes was to meet the man himself. He's the best kind of stirrer, one with a view point that he is adamant about. Not wishy washy. And, as proven many times, he was right.

Definitely a farewell. He's not expecting many more trips around the sun. "or you might get lucky and run for a year or two."

If anybody wants to purchase the stickers shown in the Racer Article, you can get them through Marshall Pruett's website here:

Proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Cancer Hospitals.

 Done. I don't want the stickers. I just want Marshall to see that so many people support him--and St. Jude's, of course.

:cry::cry: Sometimes motorsports really gets it right.
Robin has passed.
Wish him peace.

FYI, we've got a thread in the Open Wheel forum going. I don't mind having them both open actually, but just wanted to mention as others are posting there as well.
