Staring this thread early because of the conversation about the chat time. Spectrum thinks the Mexico City GP is on ABC at 9:30 AM Pacific Time on Sunday, November 7--NOT in the afternoon. ESPN has it on at 5::30 PM Pacific Time.

According to google, (which has been decent for predictions this year) the race is 2 pm eastern, 11 am pacific.

Now, just realize that daylight savings ends the night before the race..... so assume it starts one hour earlier than what I just said and we should all be good.

According friends who are in Puerto Vallarta right now, Daylight Savings Time ended in Mexico last Saturday night.

When you ask google, it tells you based on your time zone, so it said 12 pm for me (mountain time)

So noted. It certainly wouldn't be the first time Spectrum (Time Warner) was wrong on their timing. It's one of the *many* reasons I double check the day before AND record everything and anything related to racing at the stated time plus two hours. At least once a year, I'm very glad I did.

Well, if we go to the official F1 Website, it claims that the race is 1-3pm Mexico City (e.g. track) time:

Then if we go to (my favorite) time zone calculator (TimeAndDate.com):

We can set the time and date to:
1pm on Sunday, November 7th, Mexico City

The we add a second city (Los Angeles in this case) and that converts to
11am on Sunday, November 7th
