Separately - I love Paul Ricard. Should be a blast this weekend.

As I said a few weeks ago - championship is shaping up to be a war of performance and reliability between Ferrari and Red Bull. This weekend should prove no different. Looking forward to it!

McLaren's upgrade looked more substantial at least.
BUT
I can't help but wonder where those 'nostrils' on the front of the Mercedes are 'ducted' to.
Evidently wherever they go, more air was needed for this weekend.

With all those red and blue stripes, it's like watching a race on a Rorshack Test.

Strange Ferrari strategy and Lec needs to finish to keep the championship interesting....sounds like an unforced error this time.

Actually, that's what I *like* about it though. Swift and I discussed this briefly in chat earlier today. Let me clarify: I certainly would NOT want every track to be like Paul Ricard.
BUT
I think it's a nice and fun change. And since it's the only track like this - I think it's a neat and fun change.

All that said, I take the point.

Separately, I don't think there was a person on the planet who was in agreement with the Ferrari strategy today. I'd like to think there was something else at work (e.g. they had a puncture and didn't want to say over the open radio)...but who knows.

Next week - Hungary!!!

They did eventually say that "tire degradation" was the reason. :shakehead:

I enjoy watching Ferrari eff-it-up almost as much as the Dallas Cowboys... :)
