Abu Dhabi 2025 meet up

A few of us were tossing around the idea of meeting in Abu Dhabi for 2025. Reread for clarity: not this year. The hotels appears to be quite reasonable, as these things go. If this post isn't allowed, boss, give it the ax. If it is, anyone who could conceivably, realistically, be interested, please chime in. I was there, not at the race, two years ago and loved the place so I'd love to go back. But don't let that deter you. :laugh:

For your budgeting pleasure, Celestyal Cruises is (sorry for this) testing the waters this year with a 7-night cruise roundtrip Dubai, leaving December 2 2024. Three nights moored in Abu Dhabi. It's an old ship with small cabins but the price for the cruise including port taxes is less than $2,000 per person. This is unheard of. Meaning low. Also rare that the ship is there for the whole grand prix and not just the race itself. Other more glamorous cruise lines are charging twice that. To be continued.
