Sidepods on the car that sold look different than those in this article

if its truly an 86 roller, then probably a show car for the 90 season. Pat patrick ran Al Unser Sr. in Indy and Michigan with the miller high life 40 car.

edit: the more i look at the sold car, it looks more like a penske 89 car (which patrick ran with emmo) than an 86 car. (it has a more smoothed out engine cowling than the humpback whale looks the 86 cars had. The front wing also looks more like the penske as well, which can be seen in the 89 danny sullivan car. but honestly the noses look different, with penske more flattened out on the top.

ok. threw this question over to the gang at Paintergeek's facebook group 'fans of cart'.

Looks like the car is a 91 lola. Which means why put an old 1990 livery you no longer run on a 91 car? :confused:
