If you’ve not figured it out by now Q is Friday and the race is Sat.

Same old same. Only thing to watch this year will be the fight between the two Ferrari's.

gotta agree. :irked:
Maybe drama between teammates this year.
Can Perez not be humbled anymore than today?
Will Sainz make a point to Ferrari that they chose the wrong one?
And then there’s this

What do Formula One Racing and baseball have in common? The definition of the sport, which is: Packing 20 minutes of action into two hours. I think I prefer baseball. At least it doesn't pretend to me more than it is.

It will never end, I I suspect it is this

THE BIG PICTURE: Red Bull can win a race with one hand tied behind their back. So, why are the other teams voluntarily tying their own hand behind their back -- overheating, brake issues, steering wheel problems. Fans' anger should be directed at all the other teams who continously fail to design a better car and get their act together.

Funny thing is I compare motor racing to baseball sometimes, and I am not a baseball fan. If you are, each pitch is interesting. Oh, it is a switch up hitter this time, that means something. To me, it often looks like a game of catch with a lot of spitting. In motor racing, some people see a car go round and round and someone changed the tires fast. A fan sees a tire strategy playing out with under or over cuts. If you are a fan and care about the subtleties, then it is far more interesting.

Agreed. Another reason they are so similar. I noticed it with the Indy TV coverage this weekend. They actually covered the midpack stuff, who is catching whom, why does an over or undercut matter. what is the danger zone, which tire is doing what against the other compound? I guess I'm just tired of the F1 announcers who seem to have a tone that is, shall we say, vibrant, and the endless laps where the TV shows very little of the subtleties you describe above.
hard to disagree with this
