Last year's Austrian Grand Prix saw more than 1200 reports of cars driving outside track limits, but the FIA is prepared in 2024, from advanced AI tech to trusty gravel traps

So the distance from the white line to the edge of the gravel is set at 1,5m, a reduction from the standard 2m.

F1 car is 2m wide
F2 car is 1,9m wide
F3 car is 1,885m wide

So a tire in the gravel is time consuming and most likely a track limit violation...

5 second penalty for norris for a divebomb and then gave the place back. [edit: I've seen that the race stewards have issued that the divebomb was the 4th time Norris was off track, with the third causing a black and white flag warning]

10 second penalty for verstappen for blocking and causing a crash.
