Hyundai Motorsport has announced a new LMDh program with its Genesis brand with which the Korean marque will participate in the FIA World Endurance Championship and be eligible to enter into the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

As a Genesis owner I think this is huge

Agreed.

In another place they're discussing how this is a slap in the face to IndyCar which I also sort of agree with. It's interesting that IndyCar has been courting a 3rd engine OEM forever while the WEC has been successful in generating lots of interest from many different brands.
