A reported 80 mill to be on the airbox. I'm sure for a fraction of that 80, they could have a whole sidepod on a Champ Car. And they changed their color to fit!

you mean there's even a semblance of parity between the exposure made available by williams compared to that of champ car? It's not like budweiser doesn't have the $ to throw around, and as far as motorsports go, they've hit up the 2 biggest outlets.

They probably could have bought the whole series.
Maybe they noticed that a lot of us don't drink their clydesdale piss. And neither do my German relatives. Bud will not penetrate markets where good beer is brewed no matter how much they spend. This is a good case of marketing gone awry.

the 99 or 00 season I was counting up the sponsors on the F1 grid who have american hq's and i came up with something like 25-35% american count. annoying... with all that $... no ameican "help", that'd be xenophobia , wouldn't it ? funny thing is everyone keeps talking about F1 presence in the us...
