I am rather curious as to this new CART rule regarding "blocking" after watching the SPEED on Demand from the race. It was to my understanding that the new rule was that you cannot even make one move even in response, but on the first green lap Bourdais clearly made 2-3 swerves to block Carpentier on the run up to Turn 5, and then managed to go completely across the width and back of the track going uphill to Turn 6. This would have been blocking even if one move was allowed, so where was the penalty?
