Understandable that you decided to pull the plug on the nastiness in the caption thread. I was wondering though, is it possible to just edit or delete posts without deleting an entire thread?

Yes it is. However, there was almost more to edit in that thread than leave, so I just moved it to the mod forum (which you probably can't even see). Had I been a little more active the last 24 hours, I probably could have kept up with it, but it was completely and utterly off topic when I got to it.
