Houston Grand Prix 2004?

There isn't anything on the calender for next year and an email to the convention center revealed that the "tenative" date for the GP is April 11-13, 2005.

I made a call to the grand prix, and they said they are still looking for a sponsor and that with the Superbowl in Feb. and the All-Star game that 2004 just wasn't going to happen. I asked if Haas was still the promoter and he said yes.

I was surprised to come across a number for the Houston GP, I thought that they had completely closed shop.

I wonder if Haas goes IRL'ing if he would try to keep this date for CART? IRL????
