View Full Version : Practice speeds
Will Bourdais steal Bruno's thunder this year? He did in practice today. Interestingly his best spead was only a tick more than a second slower than da Matta's time on the first day of sneak preview last year, in spite of the "dumbed down" spec Ford.
I guess the subject should really be "Testing Speeds", too bad you can edit a subject. :(
It's nice to see Bourdais go fast immediately in an open test.

What series did Bourdais come from and was he one of the top drivers?

F3000. He was awarded the championship after Tomas Enge's chances went up in a cloud of hooch smoke.

Bourdais was last year's F3000 champ after Enge failed the whiz quiz.
Thanks. I just don't have enough time to watch all of the racing that I would like. My wife says I watch way to much racing.

Send her shopping and catch Bourdais in F3000 on Speed. He's fun to watch.

Wouldn't work. If I ask my wife to go shopping she will think something is up. Probably something much worse than watching races. :D

Bourdais da man! Bank it. (does he speak English? I'd hate to see CART try to feature a guy who needs an interpreter for TV)

Ahhh, must be one of unser jr's pupils :D
Seriously though, from what I've seen Bourdais in F3000 rebroadcasts, the guy is good.
