According to the following article, the St. Pete race is tentatively set for May 16! It seems that is set as long as FTG does not muck up the sale.

Interesting note: May 16th is the date that was announced for the Las Vegas race.

There had been talk from PG about this happening, and the LV race would become the finale, as it seems the LV race might happen somewhere other than the LV track. (read: parking lot race)

Awesome! I didn't want to see that one go from the schedule. :D

I just hope that next year it will be back to Febraury as the season opener. I can't think of a better way to enjoy the season opener, but as a mid-winter getaway! :thumbup:

Last year's event was fantastic. Getting away from Indiana in February to see race was just the thing I needed. I'm hoping for the return of the event to February too.
