ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. (February 17, 2004) -Formula Motorsports today launched the new official website for the Cooper Tires Championship Series, http://www.cooperseries.com.
Featuring news, photos, results and team profiles, as well as technical and competitor information for the Formula Ford Zetec Championship, Formula SCCA Championship and the Avon Sports 2000 Championship, the new website will be the ultimate resource for the Cooper Series. Following the launch the website will continue to add new features and sections.
Newly created, the Cooper Tires Championship Series features three of North America's premier training series, the Formula Ford Zetec Championship, the Formula SCCA Championship and the Avon Sports 2000 Championship. Racing throughout the United States and Canada the Cooper Tires Championship Series will showcase the best young drivers from around the world on a challenging mix of racetracks. The three championships will have individual races on overlapping schedules, with separate points and purse funds.
The 2004 Cooper Tires Championship Series season commences with the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, March 17-19, 2004, at Sebring International Raceway.
