Much more realistic looking than the Mexican Ninco Herdez/Gigante versions late last year with the rear wing mounted onto the engine cowling... :shakehead
Any idea when this will be released stateside or what the list price would be?

Very nice.
I'd buy it now.
Check with RadTrax.com in LV. I don't see it on their site now, but perhaps an email to customer service will offer a clue.
Too bad the car/sponsor won't participate in 04. Always better to have a tie-in to the current series

Looks great, but why does it have grooved Michelins on it? They use a Williams or McLaren chassis as the base??

$39.95 to $44.95 Not available as of yet. (As far as I know)
But it's not a collector like...

It does look like it says "Bridgestone Potenza" on the sidewalls. The FL wheel (closest to camera) DOES seem grooved to me, but the others don't.

I should also add that those look like proper O.Z. wheels (vs. Ninco's generic "black 6-spoke"). But does anyone know where to get properly scaled BBS versions, should someone want to convert this to say, a Player's, TKG or Rahal entry? The separately-sold Ninco 1/32 BBS hubs are actually sportscar sized (or closer to 1/25 scale for CART/IRL style tires), and all the Scalelextric IRL Dallaras use O.Z.'s exclusively...?

who has the actual link for this, I want to look at some other photos. I could see Bridgestone there, but I could also see a blue background in the LR and LF tyres.
All of them looked grooved to me. Anyone have a link, or know if you can put on your own wheels and tyres?
Crud. I forgot this was in ChampCar forum. I'll start a new topic in community.

Maybe we need a slotcar/diecast forum?
Hey, Boss! What do you think?

This is the only shot I've seen thus far of the actual car or prototype. What was displayed at the 2004 London toy show was a photo of the actual car, IIRC.
Nor have I found a technical writeup or anything similar on it.

Here's the Toy Fair display - box art only (http://www.slotcarillustrated.com/Features/London2004/pages/Toy%20Fair%202%20005_jpg.htm)
Now all four tires there DO look grooved!

Isn't that a fetish object for some obscure tribe in Indiana?

Hmmm...I think I saw an x-ray of that on the internet.
