It seemed as if Nigel was late,Robin left probably to get Nigel in the studio once he found out that he was there. At least that's what it seemed like. I expected Nigel to be there for the better part of the show, not 40 minutes or so. They barely scratched the surface of F1.

Roebuck was at Eldora Saturday night?! D'oh! I was supposed to go cover it, but opted for a family reunion instead. Nigel Roebuck has to be my favorite writer.

Oh, BTW 'bird I got to talk to Bob and Bobby East Friday night. (link) (http://www.limanews.com/story.php?IDnum=6604)
Bobby is kinda quiet, but really a nice kid. And dayum! Can he drive! He got caught up in a first-lap fracas and ended up in the back of the pack. He was passing two-three guys a lap, all on the high side. He finished third. Very impressive.

Hey, Robin! Shut up about unification. Pimpske has only ever had one good idea for champcars and that was more than thirty years ago. And, of course, the self-serving SOB only proposed a 4.0l full race NA engine for Indy because he thought he had a supply of Ferrari V12s massaged and serviced by Traco in his back pocket.

Childress asked PT to drive @ Sonoma, Forsythe said no.

Penske talked with Kalkhoven, Forsythe and Gentilozzi. No progress reported. i.e. the three amigos haven't figured out what Penske is up to yet. Penske motives are purely selfish. Could be series sponsorship, keeping H&T in the leeg. Toyota said they aren't happy, won't continue propping up the league. Honda going neckcarring.

neckcar prooves that cornlicker is bad for you.

ftg still doesn't know how to spend his money right.

I love the part weer Jackie Stewart ranked the Best US F1 drivers ever. Eddie Cheever and Danny Sullivan better than Peter Revson? What a joke. Jackie is upset because Revson probably stole a victory from Sir Jackie, unlike Underachiver and Pretty Boy who never won a F1 race.
