I know, but at least it's a ride.
At least it is not another Sparifico brother. Or Charlie Nearburghisface, or Arie Lyendyke Jr!

The 2004 season will also mark the return of Cummins Inc. as the sponsor, a long-time partner of Walker Racing

Yes, it's interesting that they're coming back on their own too. Before they were in a B2B with Valvoline (and still are in NASCAR, I believe). It is great to see an old sponsor return.
Additionally,
Cummins makes the diesel for Dodge trucks and not Ford. So, it isn't an arm twist sort of deal from the engine manufacturer.
Great news!
Walker is a dedicated racer and a very good businessman, so it's good to see that Cummins has come back to supporting him.
Also, Haberfeld is a capable driver and he should do a good job for Derrick.

I thought he did a pretty good job last year. Especially in a Reynard. Will he be in a Reynard this year?

Is Walker the only fence sitter to end up in CART/ChampCar?

Nice to see Cummins back in racing and supporting Champ Cars. I believe Onan is also in the mix. They make a very good generator for homes and businesses.
Also, I hope Walker can put the Reynard to rest and get a Lola. I'd like to see Habs competitive like I know he can be.
Things are shaping up nicely!

Right, he is now a fence sitter. I meant former fence sitters who are only in one series now. Not that Walker is some big coup or anything, but it's nice to win one every now and then. ;)
