The Ed Sullivan Theatre where Letterman tapes his show is right around there, guess he was busy looking at pictures of "Crapwagons" and wondering how he let Mr. Potato Head talk him into his folly!

I love the publicity and proof positive that Champcar is alive and well. And I think Champcar/Spike are tapping into the sensibilities of the Champcar crowd. Times Square is not Daytona Beach, with all apologies to any Floridians. This has the feel of fast and cool.

But, is it just me or would it have been nice to get a little color on that Champcar? A little flash, dazzle and pop?

I just bought a Acura TL the same color and I love it, but this is a display race car. It kinda blends into the asphalt.

No, it's not just you. I know I "should be glad they're doing anything like this in the first place", but yeah, you're right, some color woulda been nice. A bit too generic if ya ask me (which I know noone will do ;) )
