Racing fans attending this year's Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal will be transported back to the glory days of the sport, thanks to the Historic Grand Prix.
The American-based group has announced plans to race some 30 vintage Formula One cars during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend of June 11-13 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
Included in the lineup is a pair of Ferraris once raced by Canadian racing icon Gilles Villeneuve, the 1979 312T4 and the 1980 312T5. Also scheduled to appear is the Williams FW07B of two-time winner Alan Jones, Peter Revson McLaren M23, Jackie Stewart's Tyrrell 004, Jacky Ickxs Brabham BT26A and the Lotus 79 of 1978 World Champion Mario Andretti.
