Jim Cantalupo, 60, has died unexpectely of a heart attack. Charlie Bell, the "heir apparent" takes over at age 43. Cantalupo is generally recognized as the man who turned around McDonald's Corporation in the 16 months he was CEO.
I don't know if he was personally involved in the Bourdais sponsorship but I know that Champ Car fans owe a debt of gratitude to McDonalds for stepping up and helping us when we needed it. Condolences to the Cantalupo family.

Note to ChampCar:
If he's never been, get Charlie to a race, quick.....

RIP - thats pretty young, and they tend to be real anal about their CEO's health nowadays !
Heart Attack... Chairman of McDonalds ... Young ( By todays standards ) not a good advert
In regards to Charlie ....
Hopefully he isn't one of those understudies that tries to "one Up" the Star
You know ... cost cutting !
He's gotta love Paul Newman though - Everybody does!!! (fingers crossed)
The only thing McDonalds should cut out is Hamburgers ( If that's what you call them) Is that Meat or Brown Paint on those rolls ;)
