I have been posting at the Racing One forum for a while and at the CW forum also. I tried like heck to get my account activated before the grand prix but couldn't. I'm liking all the Oriol pics, even though he's not my fave this year. Still very cute. The color on the Rocketsports car is awesome. Much better this year.

Some good pics on both pages. I've been missing good quality ChampCar pics since SpeedCenter shut down. The cart.com shots have been pretty dull: Tom Cruise, a handful of car shots and the podium - not even some good "lifestyle" shots to spice things up.

I just used a regular old Sony DSC P72. Didn't do much high speed but at the practice I took some great MPGs of pit stop practices and other action and also got a great mpg of Oriol in the back of his truck on the parade lap.

I've been looking to step up to an SLR "type" digital. As usual, the features on a Canon are great. But the last time I picked between a Nikon and a Cannon film SLR I was dissapointed in the Cannon optics. Do you think they're on par with each other now, or do you think either one is better than the other.

I shot approx. 1000 digital images with my Nikon D100 (400+ of those are now up at motorsport.com), 13 rolls 35mm with my Minolta 800si, and one hour's videotape with my Sony consumer MiniDV.

Actually, of course, Cork shot about ten minutes of that, and Ank two dozen or so shots with the Nikon. ;)

My bad on the file name. It has been a long night!

As far as Nikon vs. Canon, it depends on the amount you want to spend. In the Under $1000 Nikon wins, hands down. In the $1500ish range, I may go with the Canon 10D. But, now I'm invested in the Nikon "system" :)

Oh, and cool wallpaper! That's what the shots are for.
