Jacques Villeneuve set for testing return With Williams

According to TSN F1 analyst Gerald Donaldson, Villeneuve will test for BMW-Williams at the Jerez circuit in Spain the week following the United States Grand Prix.



Villeneuve has been linked to a possible return with Williams in 2004 and reports surfaced this past week that he would be back behind the wheel next month, possibly in time for the Canadian Grand Prix.

In light of the fact that Montoya is going to McLaren until proven otherwise, I am hopeful that after a year off from his BAR experiences and, in my opinion, wasted talents, JV will come back on a mission with something to prove....... Full of Piss and Vinegar !!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Jacques was the equal to Jenson last year when his car was working. And now Jenson is the Golden Boy this year. I think that Jacques still has the skill. And now that he is filthy rich, maybe he will drive better in a better car. I think he is certainly worth testing. In fact, he might be a bit more grateful this time around at Williams.

A buddy of mine tried to convince me weeks ago that Jacques would be in a Williams before Canada, I thought it was just the Jagermiester talking.

imo Jacques is one of the top five in the world when properly inspired.

I'd like to see it happen for a couple reasons:

I like Williams but Jaun is leaving

Ralf sucks? Exactly where did Ralf qualify and where did Monty the Hothead qualify? As far a Jack back to Williams.....that's rich.....testing and hard work can't get in the way of his being balls deep in a model, so what good would he do the team. BAR sure went to hell when he left :D
