A great day here in Cleveland today. Can't sit inside and watch racin on one of the reletively few good days on the North Coast. That what VCR's are made for.....
Until you tape the wrong channel........... Three hours of MSNBC.... :shakehead
Five minutes of expletives and throwing my cycling gear around. Now, what to do ?
Anyone want to rent me a VHS of the race. I'll die without my fix.
Tape returned with 10 for your help.

Am I required to have a digital signal for TiVO ?
I'm considering it.
No digital required. TiVo will work with any cable box with RF or analog video out that can be controlled by an infra-red remote.

even better, get BeyondTV3, pay for it once and it's free. Stores shows on your computers HD. Careful though, todays race took up 6.46GB on my new 160GB drive that I installed just for BT3. Although, thats on the "best" quality setting which is adjustable.
Won't Race Director be showing it?

It should be in the archive eventually.

You should be able to turn that into a DivX small enough to fit on a CD. Probably 600MB. Much smaller, but still big.
Try DVR from your local cable company, but ALWAYS extend the recording time when you record races...
I use Cox's DVR box and love it.
