HEADS UP: Mid Ohio Date Change

Mid Ohio has switched dates again. Its now going to be on the 10th of August, vice the 17th.

This is good news for me. Aug 17 was 50-50 at best. August 10 is more like 80-20. :)

Nah. Mark Cassis won't say a word. Kentucky Speedway is very close to latching on to the Winston Cup teat and nothing else matters.

BTW, I wonder how many M-O road racing regulars actually care that they could drive to Sparta and see the cars go round and round? Last time I spoke with Cassis he still didn't have a clue about the difference between "openwheel" and "formula car racing" and was quizical about my favorite day at the track being Friday when I could walk around the circuit with friends.

I was looking at the schedule on CART.com, and they still have August 17 listed as the MidOhio date. I'm sure this is an oversight, but it would be nice if the race schedule was kept current.

I thought the date on CART.com reflected the change. This cuts my chances of going by about 75%
