Ya'll neglected Ocean City (just down the shore from AC)...one of the nation's first resort cities.

Also interesting to note that NJ requires full service @ gas stations. That takes some getting used to each summer during our trek to the Joisee Shoar. :)

Those are some fun facts to know and share, racer2c! I'm going to pass them along to my sister; she lives near Absecon. Been to visit her a couple of times, and had a good time there. It's fun to do the tourist thing in Cape May and Ocean City, and the diners are terrific!

Ask your researcher to chronicle Marion County and environs and report back.

The Pine Barrens is also the repository for the "remains" of a lot of the "Hits" carried out by the Philadelphia and New York Mobs...

At least the ones that don't want found for awhile... the others they just leave in the car trunks or drivers seats & let the cops take care of cleaning them up!

And then of course there is Jimmy Hoffa!

I dunno... I think that's probably one stiff that didn't make it to the Pine Barrens. Hoffa was grabbed just around noon at the Machus Red Fox at Telegraph & 15 mile in Bloomfield Hills outside of Detroit. All I know for certain is that there was a major concrete pour going on that week at Telegraph and 11 mile, and that there are guys in Detroit who are still laughing all these years later about the FBI swallowing the bait and digging up half of Jersey. Particularly since a 600mi trip (each way) would have meant missing dinner. :D

Yeah, Lockheed engineer does sound like a much better career choice than NYC cab driver. :D

But at least then you wouldn't have your "what car to buy?" dilemma because you'd be in a Crown Vic all day!
