Last night woulda been my chance, but alas... family got in the way.
Unless someone's up for Sunday afternoon. The wife will be taking the daughters out, and I'll just be home with the boy watchin Speed Channel (and, when he takes his nap, porn). At least I don't feel so embarrassed when I'm caught racin' GPL. ;)

I've been working on my PB at the Ring.
Down to 8:48, with 10 seconds out there...
But 8:20?

Ahaa! So, this is how you get quick in an M3, eh? ;)
I used to have the game, but didn't have the all of the goodies in my PC to make the game better. For a while there I was playing F12001 on PS2. A lot of people didn't care for the game but I thought it was/is very good. The actual game play was so-so, but to put in a very quick time was challenging.
Good luck w/ SWC in Florida (Sebring, I presume?). Keep me posted.

911 - you have to load it up and get the updates, and get your *ss online!! Last race at Willow I was going under someone in T1, and put the front left off over the curb, on the inside. The car started going all over the place and I didn't lose it. I swear it was because I was keeping my reaction times quick by playing this stupid ;) game regularly. A lot of people say sims do nothing for real world racing, but I guarantee they help in reactions at the very least.....
Fox, I'm 1.388 seconds from going negative there, in the Brabham!! My Lotus and Eagle times are +4.733 and +7.318!! The Brabham's just so forgiving, I guess.
RacinM3 - I completely agree with you on how these games help keep reaction times up. Some people tell me that "it's just a game." True, but on the track your thought process as a driver is the same as it is when you play the game. All of my racing buds play these games... As JPM says, these games keep you mentally sharp.
