HDTV is so Awesome!

for some reason today's broadcast seems more clear and more fantastic then the others. It's like being there! I wish that other types of racing were broadcast in HD but I'm loving that my favorite race series is.

If you can get HDTV and don't have it, I highly recomend it. It's worth it.

Yes it is awesome ... plus you get the whole race and qualifying

Today started at 2 PM ET with repeat of Qualifying, then 3:30 PM with Pre Race Show, the 4PM till conclusion the Race itself.

Plus it will be repeated throughout the week at various times !

I've had HDTV for 2 years now and it gets better and better with content by the week!

The 5.1 surround sound always gives me goosebumps when they do the full lap from an in-car camera.

Did any one else notice they seemed to have the .1 effects channel turned up today?

The Trans-Am race looked great too.

The quality of the broadcast is great, as is no-commercial deal, but they could improve the show in general by airing the sidebar stuff during the long yellows rather than during the green flag racing.

They could have also given us split times and pit stop times on a more regular basis not to mention keeping a closer eye on things like the race long Wilson/Allmendinger battle.

Plus the waitress could have brought my beers a little quicker.
