He probably thought he should use them up before the end of the race, kind of like shuffling your paper around on your desk to make yourself look busy.

I think he didn't use any of it in LB or Monterrey. Maybe he got confused and thought it was the radio. Then he realized he was going faster for a little bit.

I noticed it on the Race Director commentary and typed LOL in chat when he finally used the P2P button late in the race. He's really way behind on the learning curve (like Jourdain in 1997) and his family money would have been better spent in the Atlantics or Nissan series.

Oh, well. At least he is a polite backmarker and puts another car in the field.

Late in the race his crew finally informed him that he's not able to let his PTP time roll over into the next race. He had planned on saving it all up for the season finale and lap everyone three times en route to victory. ;)
