In all seriousness, it shows that IRL P.R people have no input into Honda's PR efforts, that Honda will mention the "C" word. It also shows that Honda is not ashamed of it's CART past.

Honda's first year in CART was a disaster. Even if their 90 degree crank engine that year had won races, it sounded like the cars ate at King Taco the night before. Everyone in the stands at Long Beach was asking: "What is wrong with the Hondas?" They sure turned around fast, way faster than Toyota would manage a few years later.

Yup I remember the 90 degree crank engines sounded horrible when Rahal was running them. I was at New Hampshire when Andre won.

I have the book. Purchased it a few months ago. It's an *excellent* read. It also has many great full color photographs, and provides a lot of interesting insights from some different perspectives.

Hilarious - it does mention the IRL, but it's listed as, "Did you know? Honda is in it's second season in the IRL..." :rofl:
