The AR1 piece says due to contract dispute. Wonder what that's about? I think we all assumed Phillippe was bringing $$.

Contract dispute means this months check either hasn't been delivered or bounced.

According to the LeasePlan website (http://www.leaseplan.com/internet/LPCom/LPComweb.nsf) they have sponsored Fernando Alonso since 1997.

No mention of their ChampCar involvement that I can see.

Just so I beat KnowitallBob to it, LeasePlan has been Alonso's personal sponsor for pretty much his entire career. ;)

What better way for me to use my 1,000th post than to bash the fake Canadian journalist!

According to Boohoo, theres a pool in Toronto trying to guess when Gidley will wreck out, and it is currently at L1 T3. Because you know how wreckless Memo was in his open wheel days... :rolleyes:
