So I'm sitting here at 3 AM pretty bored, its my first night doing third shift and I can't fall asleep because the customers are going to start showing up within an hour and I drank a ton of Red Bull before I came in. :D

So to kill time, I brought my Prototypes book, I want to finally read this thing from start to finish (excluding the hundreds of pages of race results of course). Anyway, here is one of the quotes from the beginning:

Airport valet parking. Gotta be open all the time, and unfortunately I drew the short straw on working third shift one night a week until the fall semester begins. :p

And before anyone asks, no I don't go around abusing the cars here. Most of them suck anyway, although theres currently an E36 M3, 350Z, and WRX all sitting on the lot right now. I parked them all next to each other at a cool slanted angle, I figured it was the most fun I could have with them since I can't go over 15 mph anyway. :D

The worst part is I have to work next Friday too, and its my 21st birthday! Do I dare live out the American Dream and come to work drunk? :rofl: Nah, I'm not much of a drinker, having the world's smallest bladder keeps me from drinking large amounts of any kind of liquid unless its really hot out

My only rental car abuse was when I was working for a tire and wheel company. Toyo invited us to test some of their new tires, so I was all over it. It was kind of a glorified slalom course in an empty parking lot. When I walked around to the back of the car, I laughed out loud when I saw the tell tale logo on the rear deck - it wasn't so much that Toyo went out and just rented some cars for us to thrash, but that they were from the very company that my ex-wife worked for. Bonus! :laugh:

I remember when I lived in Cleveland the guy working for the tire place that wrapped a 911 GT2 around a bridge abutment over on the east side while on a "test drive" after fitting tires. The customer was not impressed. :laugh:

That is about 1/2 mile from where I sit. They guy who owned the car was one of the founders, and at that time still president of (and maybe still is) Officemax.
