According to the DCR team race note in the Champcar news...
A solid qualifying of 10th for Servia was again rewarded with a great move to the front on the opening lap. Servia was running in 7th after the first lap and moved up to 6th before the first round of pit stops. Unfortunately after the first round of stops were completed, Servia's quest for a podium finish was thwarted, when he was bonsaied by Alex Tagliani in turn 3 on lap 42.

It must be very tough to keep driving a champcar at speed when you've been chopped into a very small tree by a French Canadian lumberjack!
