I remember on my 21'st b-day. I was in college living in town in a rented house, and my roommate and I went to the neighorhood pub at midnight as soon as I became legal. We bellied up to the bar. I ordered my usual from the bartender, who knew me by name because I had been going there for a couple years already, and asked him if this could be a birthday freebie. He said "sure, let's see your ID". I gave it to him, he looked at it, and said "you son-of-a-bitch..."
