Dario told to "Slow Down"?

Ashley Judd, who did a very articulate and knowledgeable interview after the race, stated that she was feeling good when Dario's team manager told him on the radio to "slow down".

To me that sounds like shades of Brian Barnhart talking over the race control frequency and telling Sam Hornish to back off (presumably to make the race more exciting) a couple of seasons ago.

Anybody else have any explanations?
