Just got a new set of Bridgestones. Most expensive set of tires I ever purchased. Could be the Suburban they were attached to. :D

The problem with supporting sponsors is that a couple years later, you are driving a Toyota Tundra with a Pioneer radio, and you ride a Honda VFR filled with Mobil 1 oil.

That's right, he did have Western Union on the side pods :gomer: ...as far as the GT40 goes, I would but it has GoodYears... :p

Speaking of tires I'm looking at a set of Bridgestone RE950s for the Miata. Looking at the tire spec sheet I found this:


Innovative Roundness - Rounder Is Better
Rounder overall tire shape provides better balance for wet or dry handling.

I guess racing really does improve the breed. :)

You would be surprised how out of round some tires are. Especially the crap they bolt on new cars coming out of Detroit........ General has never made a round tire... Just like Ford has never made a round cylinder bore.....

I just bought some Bridgesones RE750's. Love them.

But I did also just buy a car that was not a Ford. Sorry couldn't pass up the Audi S4. :D
