Thanks....the clarity and definition tell me it's time to go digital. When you can see the reflection of a cockpit sticker on the side pod, it's time... Nice job Jamie.

As always, great pics dude.
Would PT "Superfans" put a smile on your face, or would you just consider them "PT Fan-boys"?
;)

Damn, some really nice photos. Thanks very much. If you have the time, please post any tips on attending Spa.
This is my favorite:

You should see the quality of my photos when I was there in 1998
Your camera must have had a huge lens, any info on what you were using?

Your photos have convinced me that my first European GP should be Spa in 2005. I think it's time for me to grab my Dad and make the journey.

Spa tips.
Be prepared to walk... a lot. Not just around the circuit... but to the circuit. I personally preferred camping more than staying in a hotel... I know for some of you sallies that won't be an option though.
We stayed HERE (http://www.eaurouge.nl/)... but don't be fooled by the name. Its actually closer to Stavelot. We were able to walk from camp to the circuit in about 30 minutes... then once inside the circuit... it was usually another 30-45 minutes to get to far side of the track and to our seats in Eau Rouge. There are other campsites in the vicinity... but I will likely go back to this one. Good facilities and power for every site... including tent sites.
There are hotels in the area... and depending on where you are, you will most likely be required to drive to the track every day. And even then you will be lucky to park anywhere within 30-60 minute walk to the circuit, imo. Where we were, people were parking and walking from beyond where our campsite was located.
When we stayed in 1999 we booked a hotel and coach transfer from Brussels through some Irish travel agency. This enabled us to be dropped off just outside the circuit... so you lazy people might be up for this. The downside to this is that you are on someone else's schedule... and have to leave Brussels each morning before 6am to get to the circuit in time. Depending on traffic, you may or may not make it in time for all of the sessions.
Bring rain gear. It rained six seperate times on Thursday... and for 18 straight hours from Friday through Saturday (no exaggeration... there was not one single break!)
Bring beer. Fosters is crap. Figure out a way to keep it cold... or get used to drinking it warmer. You will be lucky to find a single ice cube in the EU. Most brought cooler boxes (that were powered by car battery)... or by the campsite power. We were lucky to hook up with some germans that brought 2 kegs of their local bavarian beers, Tochen. That rocked. As it turned out, we did little drinking at the track and a lot of drinking at camp ;)
Bring food. Track food is crap. Belgian waffles were ok... and pomme frittes were ok. We stopped at a grocery in Stavelot and bought bread and butter and meats and cheeses and were set.
Bring a camera. To answer ilferrari, I am using a borrowed Canon Digital Rebel DSLR and a 75-300mm zoom.
Try to get there in time for Thursday... I would guess they will have pit-walks for future grand prixs.
Excellent info, thanks!
My workplace has a digital Rebel, it may go temporarily missing this time next year!
