An interesting look at the people behind the voices. And if the pre-race excitement isn't allowing you to sleep Sunday morning, catch the 4am airing.

It's been on a few times; it's interesting to watch, especially when the interviewer gets to interview the characters.

I watched it when it first aired. Not that it was a big deal, but there was no explaination as to why Julie Kavner was there for the final segments.

I would have liked to have Tress McNeil. She does many of the female voices and is also the voice of Dot on "Animaniacs" and Billy on "Pinky & The Brain."

The Simpsons. Best show on television. I have a bull headed friend who refuses to watch it, but he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer and wouldn't understand the show anyway. He says he gave up cartoons when he was a kid. I remind him of a line that Lisa once had... "Dad, if cartoons were made for adults, they would put 'em on in prime time."

Yeah, that confused me too.

Of course, the guy I most wanted to see doing all those characters was Phil Hartman. :(

According to http://zentertainment.com/article.php?sid=6276 :

Lipton was so thorough in his zeal to include as many of the show's characters as possible on his show, that when Kavner tried to run to the bathroom he ordered her to sit back down and channel the voices of Marge Simpson's sisters, Patty and Selma.

Afterwards, Kavner didn't return to the stage.

This was the first time she'd even appeared in a group interview with the rest of the cast.
