View Full Version : Calgary/Edmonton decision by Oct 28th
A couple of stories say that the Calgary/Edmonton decision will be made by October 28th. That makes sense for an end of the month schedule announcement.

According to the first story the Edmonton group seemed to have the inside line, but Molson's Singleton says in the second story that Molson's Calgary event isn't out of the picture.
Meanwhile Champweb is reporting that Singleton has resigned from from Molson. A suprising move which could mean the deal is done.
Uh Richard, before you get your hopes up, better check with the 'experts' on all things Champ Car (http://www.trackforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50296) :gomer:

There aren't many Champ car fans that spend more time digging up Champ car news. You just have to remove the spin and read the stories for yourself.
It's gotta be frustrating for those guys that they've never been able to hammer in that last nail. Trouble is, they really don't understand why Champ car is still around to begin with, so they're not at all equipped to make any predictions about where it will go from here.

Wow, a 17 post thread with 15 of the 17 posts coming from Wilke or indycool. They must really enjoy jerking each other off over possible bad news for Champ Car.

Evidently Champ car has a deal with Edmonton, but Molson has the rights to be able to take over the event and they would probably move it to Calgary.
