The title of course should be PT's engineer bolts FOR Red Bull. WB, change it if you feel so inclined. Thanx

Must be the wings...

That, or Buddy Rice needs some help handling a car with a flexible motor in it.

Roberto Moreno has two races worth of experience in this area.

Could you explain the meaning of this to someone like me who is clueless about what you are talking about?

No.

He walked from the 1997 Data Control Lola after two races feilded by Payton/Coyne racing. The entire car was flexing in the turns, and one of the "mechanical" DNF's was caused by a majority of the mounting bolts holding the chassis/engine/trans together failing. The car literally nearly broke in half.

After two races, he bailed from the ride.

Oh, the drama. BFD, like they will miss this guy. Fill a cup with water, insert your fingertip, withdrawl your finger. See the waves? about the time it takes for these waves to subside is about how long they will miss Loewens.

Tag's engineer! WOW, there is cause for doubt. How many races has Tag's won? How many poles? How many DNF's? How many blown pit stops?

Going to Cheever's? The best racing they will have this year is out of the parking lot to the bank so their checks will cash. One foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel, all the while holding onto the potent Chevy motor...... smooth move, not since McLain Stevenson left M.A.S.H. has such a career phopaw been executed.

Hopefully Tony Cicale will step up so that the two of them can work their magic again.

Apparently, the 2003 Chevy motor is fundamentally flawed.

After about five laps, the thing burns so hot the cowling starts to melt.

The teams then have to resort to all kinds of setup tricks to try to find speed - until the motor gives out, anyways. Menard blew five during TiTW.

Excellant analogy Ziggy. Stevenson certainly set the bar high, but in the movie business this kind of career decision currently frequently referred to as "doing a Caruso", as in David Caruso. :D
