Thanks, Railbird. Once upon a time the local Champ car fan club would arrange viewing parties to watch via satellite. Unfortunately the last couple of times they tried they were either unable to locate a feed, or it the race just wasn't fed live. I doubt they bothered this year anyway since it most of them were more Team Rahal fans than Champ car fans.

We used to use Mike's Tavern, better known for the simple neon sign out front. "Park in Rear" is all it says! The year Bumpy Face Jr ate the wall, (Christian Flip a tamale) there were about 30 of us in attendence.

We watched one from Russ's Lounge in beautiful downtown Clairmont Indiana as well.

Those were the days
